Inquiraly by The Curiosity Department
Terms of Service
Effective June 7, 2026
1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account or using Inquiraly ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service. These Terms form a binding agreement between you and The Curiosity Department ("we," "us," "our").
2. What Inquiraly Is
Inquiraly is a software-as-a-service tool that helps podcast hosts and producers research guests and generate interview preparation materials using AI. The Service uses large language model APIs from third-party providers (Anthropic, OpenAI, Google, Perplexity) to generate content on your behalf.
AI-generated content is not guaranteed to be accurate. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying all generated research before use. Do not rely on Inquiraly output as fact without independent verification.
3. Your Account
You must sign in with a valid Google account. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at hello@designbetter.co if you believe your account has been compromised.
You may not share your account with others or create accounts on behalf of third parties without their consent.
4. Subscription and Billing
Inquiraly is offered on subscription plans billed monthly or annually through Stripe. By subscribing you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel.
- Cancellation: You may cancel at any time from Account settings. Your access continues until the end of the current billing period.
- Refunds: We do not issue refunds for partial billing periods. If you believe a charge is in error, contact us within 30 days.
- Price changes: We will give you at least 30 days' notice before changing subscription prices.
- Free tier limits: Free accounts are subject to monthly prep document limits. We reserve the right to change these limits with reasonable notice.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Scrape, republish, or resell outputs from Inquiraly at scale
- Use the Service to generate content about real people in a defamatory, harassing, or deceptive way
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or bypass any part of the Service
- Use automated scripts or bots to interact with the Service outside of approved integrations
- Violate any applicable law or the terms of our AI provider partners (Anthropic, OpenAI, Google, Perplexity)
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
6. Your Content
You own the prep documents, notes, and other content you create using Inquiraly. You grant us a limited license to store and process this content solely to provide the Service to you. We will not sell or share your prep documents with third parties except as described in our Privacy Policy.
You are responsible for ensuring that any guest information you enter does not violate applicable privacy laws or third-party rights.
7. AI Provider Terms
Inquiraly routes your inputs through third-party AI APIs. Your use of these features is also subject to the terms of those providers:
8. Intellectual Property
The Inquiraly application, design, and codebase are the property of The Curiosity Department. Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of our intellectual property to you. AI-generated content in prep documents is owned by you subject to the terms of the relevant AI provider.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI-generated content will be accurate, complete, or suitable for any particular purpose. Your use of the Service is at your sole risk.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Curiosity Department shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to loss of profits, data loss, or reputational harm resulting from inaccurate AI-generated content. Our aggregate liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or an in-app notice at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee, without regard to conflict of law provisions. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Nashville, Tennessee.
